Welcome Letter from Principal

Dear CMS Parents and Community,

As principal of Chaparral Middle School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone as we anticipate a successful 2019-2020 school year!  We are eager for students to return, filling our school with excitement, a passion for learning, and school spirit.  Here at CMS, we strive to build positive community among students and staff, while facilitating rigorous and friendly environments conducive to learning.  This year, our focal areas will entail increased student achievement and attendance through data-driven instructional practices, the implementation of research-based instructional practices, and the application of positive behavioral incentives and interventions.  We believe that ALL students can achieve and experience success in their education.

We look forward to partnering with you in supporting your child’s success as together, we take an active role in his/her education.  Please help us progress-monitor by visiting our registrar to attain a username and password for Synergy to access daily grades, assignments and attendance.  In addition, making an effort to carve out daily routines for homework practice and completion will greatly benefit your student.

I consider it an honor and privilege to serve as principal of Chaparral Middle School and look forward to working together in positively impacting the lives of our students.

  • Help keep my school and classroom clean and neat.
  • Take pride in my school and help make it the best.
